In the far north of an old talking map, Thor is fishing for the World Serpent, and the Serpent is fading. In Iceland a thousand years ago, a poem about it must be spoken at a feast in three days, and only a sick poet knows the end. Theo is sure the Vikings wrote their myths down. All he has to do is send for the copy.

About the Myth Hunters series
Myth Hunters is a series of illustrated adventures for readers aged ten to twelve about the world's myths and the real people who told them. Yuki, who collects stories, and Theo, who wants evidence for everything, are dragged by a grumpy old talking map into the lands where myths were first told, where each story is true the way the local people tell it. Each book delivers one mythology topic through a story that has gone wrong, and shows who told it, where and why.
